Hello! I have had several friends ask me to blog, so I though "Why not!"
First let me tell you a tiny bit about me.
I am a retired teacher. My husband of 41 years is also retired. We have raise four children and are now raising our two teenaged grandsons. We enjoy watching them play football and basketball.
I enjoy traveling to NYC and Knoxville, TN.
I am an avid reader, mostly history.
I enjoy knitting and doing cross-stitch.
BUT MOST OF ALL, I LOVE TO QUILT. It is something that I have wanted to spend time doing for many years. Now I spend as much time as possible sitting at the sewing machine or standing at the cutting table making quilts. It has become an addiction! I have so many friends that I have made thanks to my quilt passion that I can't count them.
So much for me. I have started this little blog, but will be away from the computer for about a week. I am having my left knee replaced tomorrow morning. I will get back and write about quiltitng as soon as I am able to sit at the desk.
